Why Vestir exists
Built from a very real question.
My name is Shayaan, and I’m a high school student who has always struggled with one simple question: What am I going to wear?
I had plenty of clothes, but putting together the right outfit was never easy. I often found myself asking my family what I should wear every time I had somewhere to go. Eventually, they got tired of answering the same question.
But I soon realized that I wasn’t the only one with this problem. Many of my friends and family had plenty of clothes but still struggled to know how to style them for different occasions.
So, I decided to do something about it.
I created this website to make choosing an outfit easier. Instead of simply telling you what to wear, the platform learns who you are — your personal style, preferences, appearance, wardrobe, and the kind of style you want to explore.
It then considers where you’re going, the occasion, the weather, and what you already own to help style an outfit that works specifically for you.

A few things worth knowing.
Does Vestir need photos of me or my clothes?
No. You select your avatar features manually and Vestir generates a synthetic image from those choices. Wardrobe items are added as a simple private list.
Will it only recommend clothes I own?
Basic uses only owned pieces. Statement and Experimental can include clearly labelled optional additions.
How does venue and weather styling work?
Vestir checks live forecast data for your event time and can research public venue information before building each look.
Is my profile personal?
Yes. Your avatar, preferences, wardrobe and saved looks belong to your signed-in account.
